Komite Warisan Dunia UNESCO, PBB untuk Pendidikan, Ilmu Pengetahuan, dan Kebudayaan, memutuskan tidak memasukkan Warisan Dunia Hutan Tropis Sumatera (Tropical Rainforest Heritage of Sumatra) dalam Daftar Warisan Dunia yang Terancam.
